John J. Kendrick, Jr. is a principal and co-founder of Kendrick, Jackson & Kearl. Mr. Kendrick has more than 32 years of business, construction, insurance, real property litigation and transactional experience. He represents a variety of construction and design professionals, business clients, property developers, property managers and title insurance companies emphasizing transactional and litigation matters. Prior to forming Kendrick, Jackson & Kearl in 1993, Mr. Kendrick was a principal and co-founder of Walker, Kendrick & Jackson, where he emphasized business, insurance coverage, real property transactional work and litigation for eight years. Prior to that he was a principal in the firm of Virtue & Scheck. Mr. Kendrick received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1968. He received his Juris Doctorate, with distinction, from the University of Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, in 1974. While at McGeorge, Mr. Kendrick was a member of the Traynor Honor Society and Staff member of the Pacific Law Journal. Mr. Kendrick is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, all the California state courts and the United States District Courts for the Central and Southern Districts of California. He is an arbitrator for the Mandatory Fee Arbitration Committees of the California State Bar Association and the Orange County Bar Association. He also serves as a delegate to the California State Bar Association and is on the Client Relations Committee for the Orange County Bar Association. Mr. Kendrick is a member of the American Bar Association, the California State Bar Association and on the Board of Directors of the Orange County Child Abuse Prevention Center.
