C. Bennett Jackson, Jr., brings more than 35 years of experience in real estate and business law to his position as a principal and co-founder of Kendrick, Jackson & Kearl in 1993.

At Kendrick, Jackson & Kearl, Mr. Jackson specializes in probate and trust law, with emphasis in probate dispute litigation; and real estate and business matters, including real estate transactions, development, mortgage banking and lending, construction, partnership, corporate and general business matters, and related litigation including real estate and loan fraud.

Before forming Kendrick, Jackson & Kearl, Mr. Jackson was a principal at a prominent Newport Beach law firm, which Mr. Jackson joined in August, 1987.  During the prior twelve years, Mr. Jackson operated his own law firm.

In 1972, Mr. Jackson moved to Newport Beach, California, where he joined the law firm of Eilers, Myers, Smith and Pangman, practicing in the areas of general real estate, real estate lending, general business, and probate, trust and estate planning.

Before moving to Newport Beach, Mr. Jackson was a partner in the law firm of Gray, Whyte, Burkitt & Jackson in Pasadena, California, where he engaged in the general practice of law, including real estate, business, criminal and family law.

Mr. Jackson received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Stanford University, Stanford, California in 1960.  Following graduation, he was employed by Security Pacific National Bank in its Trust Department in probate estate, conservatorship, guardianship and trust administration, Branch Trust Department supervision, and Trust Legal Services, and during which time he attended law school at the University of Southern California.  He received his Juris Doctorate in 1968 from the University of Southern California.

Mr. Jackson is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, all California State Courts, the United States Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States District Court for the Central, Northern, Southern and Eastern Districts of California.  He is a member of the Orange County Bar Association and the California State Bar Association.

Mr. Jackson has served on the Newport Beach Public Library Board of Trustees (1988-1997), and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County.
